Cancel Coverage
Please contact MGIC when you wish to cancel a borrower’s mortgage insurance, as only the insured lender can request cancellation. Request cancellation within 30 days after the effective date of cancellation.
(If you are a borrower, please contact your lender to cancel mortgage insurance coverage.)
Reporting Options
- MGIC/Link Servicing – select Cancel Coverage in the main menu; OR
- electronic formats – contact ecommerce_services@mgic.com for information; OR
- Complete and fax a Cancellation of Insurance form to 1.888.818.0241.
