Rate Finder - Plus Information
Rate Finder - Plus uses loan criteria you enter to calculate a rate quote and/or evaluate loan eligibility.
Any rate you receive is based on current premium programs. Any eligibility determination you receive is based on current underwriting guidelines. Rate quotes and eligibility decisions are valid the day they are created.
Eligible Loans
If Rate Finder - Plus determines that a loan is eligible for MGIC MI, the loan also should be eligible when you submit your MI application, unless there is a change in the loan data or underwriting guidelines.
Ineligible Loans
If Rate Finder - Plus determines that a loan is ineligible:
- It still may be found eligible after a review by an MGIC underwriter.
- Contact MGIC Customer Service with the Rate Finder - Plus Submission Reference Number (valid for 48 hours) to find out why. Call 1-800-424-6442 or e-mail customer_service@mgic.com.
