Rate Finder - Plus Information
MGIC's Rate Finder - Plus has been enhanced to provide a "Check Eligibility" feature. Now you have the option to check eligibility, check rates or both. Simply select the option at the top of the page and the necessary data fields are displayed below. Complete the data fields and click the Submit button.
Rate Finder - Plus uses the attributes submitted to make an eligibility determination and quote a premium rate. A Rate Finder - Plus "Eligible" loan should also be eligible when submitted through any MI application channel unless there is a change in the loan data or additional data. Also, a change to MGIC's guidelines between the time of the Rate Finder – Plus submission and the MI application may affect the eligibility. Loans that are "Ineligible" for an electronic approval may very well be approvable when reviewed by an MGIC underwriter.
Rate Finder - Plus is not an MI Application. It does not capture:
· identifying borrower information
· property information beyond ZIP Code and county
· customer information
